  • Certificate of Damage

    A supply management document prepared by the receiver of goods, establishing that the material delivered and received was damaged. The document includes a detailed description of the damage and the number of items damaged.
  • Certificate of Non-Collusion

    A document that may be required, usually by public purchasers, affirming that the offer is made freely and without collusion with another offeror.
  • Certificate of Origin

    A document required by customs officials that identifies the country of origin of imported goods and is certified by a U.S. consular official.
  • Certification of Cost and Pricing Data

    Contractor certification that to the best of the contractor’s knowledge and belief, the cost or pricing data submitted is accurate, complete, and current as of a mutually determined date prior to the date of the pricing of any contract, change order, or modification.
  • Certified Check

    A financial instrument whose value is guaranteed by the financial institution upon which the check is drawn. In some cases, it may be used in lieu of a bid bond as a form of bid guarantee.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

    A certification issued to qualified individuals by the National Contract Management Association.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

    A certification issued to qualified individuals by the Institute of Supply Management (ISM). The CPSM designation is an enhanced designation for supply management professionals and replaces the former Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) designation.
  • Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB)

    A designation offered by the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council to procurement professionals responsible for performing essential functions within the procurement cycle (but who may or may not have management or supervisory responsibilities) who have demonstrated prescribed levels of professional competency in the field of public procurement.
  • Certified Professional Purchaser (C.P.P.)

    A designation issued by the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC)— before PMAC and Supply Chain & Logistics Association Canada (SCL) became the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA)—to those who have achieved specified professional qualifications. The C.P.P. has been replaced by the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation.
  • Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO)

    A designation offered by the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council to procurement professionals in leadership and management positions who have demonstrated prescribed levels of professional competency in the field of public procurement.
