The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) is an independent entity established by the National Association of State Procurement Officers (NASPO) and NIGP to govern and administer the Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification programs.
The CPPO and CPPB programs are highly regarded and respected among procurement professionals and employers in the public sector. To date, the UPPCC has certified over 10,000 professionals within the US and Canada, as well as in nations around the globe.
The UPPCC is composed of a Governing Board and a Board of Examiners, whose primary responsibility is to develop and administer the certification exams. Both bodies are supported by a professional staff located in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. MORE
