Impact 2024 | NIGP
Leadership Summit 2024

Impact

Leading for Impact, now called, Impact, is designed for mid to senior level procurement leaders who want to explore the most in-demand topics that enhance the skills you’ll need to thrive in your role.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

After conducting research into issues impacting the profession, NIGP’s Leadership Committee determined workforce challenges are the most imperative focus area for leaders to grow. Therefore, for 2024, the theme for the Impact program is:

Addressing Today’s Public Procurement Talent Challenges: Creating a Culture that Attracts, Retains, and Develops Top People.

As organizations continue to struggle with attracting and retaining top employees, this year’s Impact cohort focuses on meeting these challenges head-on by using the principles and best practices of distinct Leadership Mindsets to:

Build and lead within an environment that attracts, grows, and retains an increasingly diverse, multigenerational workforce.

Create and succeed within new hybrid work environments and staffing models.

Lead teams when you are not the technical expert while also developing future leaders.

Develop succession planning approaches to ensure consistency of operations.

Develop partnerships with HR and other stakeholders that result in successful talent acquisition and management.

You asked and we listened! NIGP’s 2024 Impact program now comprises pre and post webinars around your Leadership Summit experience so you can spend your valuable on-site time delving deeper into meaningful discussions with each other. After Summit, we will gather to reinforce what you’ve learned.

This year’s cohort will utilize their new skills by creating new workforce models and tools, which will support you as you face the pressing challenge of developing a healthy and talented workplace.
