The MoU solidifies the continued efforts to facilitate best practices and outcomes for public procurement and construction industries.
February 15, 2024 Phoenix, AZ. — The National Institute for Government Procurement (NIGP) and the Center for Job Order Contracting Excellence (CJE) announce the official agreement for collaboration between the two entities. Leaders from both organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the collaboration, development, promotion, and facilitation of the betterment of the public procurement and construction industries, a move that will benefit not only the industries, but the public as a whole.
The agreement formalizes the collaboration of both parties to jointly develop and disseminate effective professional development opportunities for procurement professionals in the construction space. It also facilitates the ability to collaboratively manage a comprehensive outreach program, and provide industry with best practices. The MoU also expands the opportunities to educate both online and in-person, as well as through the specialized certificate programs.
