The University of Central Florida is seeking qualified developers for a solar photovoltaic power generation project on its main campus in Orlando, Florida. The project involves assessing feasibility, designing, financing, developing, constructing, installing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring a solar photovoltaic system on a 40-50 acre plot of land. The University is considering two financial models - a 15-year closed-end commercial equipment lease or a 10-year fixed-rate traditional loan for the equipment. The University currently receives electrical service from Duke Energy Florida and the successful developer will need to interconnect with Duke Energy Florida's distribution system. Proposals must be submitted electronically by a specified deadline and late submissions will not be accepted. For more information, interested parties can refer to the Project Fact Sheet available on the University's website or contact Gina Seabrook.
