The candidate should have two years of experience in volume public procurement and a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, or a related field. A Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) certificate or PeopleSoft experience is desirable. A valid Class C California driver's license is required. The selection process includes a qualifying evaluation, a written test, and an oral interview.
