MODL - Termination for Convenience

The document outlines the termination for convenience clause in a contract between the Airport Authority and a contractor. According to the clause, the Airport Authority has the right to terminate the contract, either in whole or in part, by providing a written notice of at least 30 calendar days to the contractor. The termination is deemed to be in the best interest of the Airport Authority. Upon receipt of the Notice of Termination, the contractor is required to stop work on the specified date and complete any remaining work that has not been terminated. The contractor is also required to submit a termination claim and invoice to the Airport Authority within three months of the termination date. Failure to submit the claim within the specified time may result in the Airport Authority determining the amount, if any, due to the contractor based on available information. After the final settlement under the contract, the contractor is obligated to make all books, records, documents, or other evidence related to the costs and expenses of the contract available to the Airport Authority for a period of five years.
