Changes to the contract must be immediately notified to the PMDM, and any additional cost must be submitted in writing for approval. The Contractor is responsible for demolition and debris removal, keeping the premises clean, and leaving affected areas as they were prior to beginning work. All work must be done in a safe manner and comply with safety regulations. The PMDM or his authorized representative will assign work to the Contractor, who must report to the work site within 24 hours. The Contractor must review the job, prepare a written estimate, and submit it within 72 hours for approval. The Contractors' invoice should clearly state actual quantities, work description, location, and date. Daily work orders must be included with the invoice, signed by the Baltimore County contact person at the job site. Payment is based on hourly rates for supervisors, movers/laborers, installers, and truck drivers. Trucks, dollies, and library carts are paid per each per day, while labels, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, and computer bags are paid for by the roll or each. Mobilization for the truck is paid for by one hour of travel to and from the job site. The minimum hours for hourly priced pay items is four.
