The County Waste Reduction Coordinator assists in training on buy recycled purchasing and waste reduction, helps develop the Buy Recycled Annual Report, and works with purchasing agents and staff to meet the goals of the policy. Lastly, the document emphasizes waste reduction at its source and suggests various measures such as using email instead of paper, reusing interoffice envelopes, saving reusable paper, making double-sided photocopies, and using reusable mugs for beverages.
