The performance measures include utilizing vendor experience for research purposes, extending contracts to reduce administrative costs and increase vendor performance, negotiating for rebates, discounts, cost savings, and value-added incentives, streamlining processes and reducing paperwork, increasing rebate potential, reducing inventory, monitoring performance and compliance, increasing vendor participation in the bid process, improving vendor communication and partnerships, and obtaining the right goods or services at the right time and price. The timeline for the goals and objectives is set for the 2006-2007 school year.
