Each participating entity awards and administers its own contract, and the CO-OP as a whole is not responsible for placing orders or paying bills on behalf of other members. Participating entities receive, inspect, and test products individually and report any non-conforming shipments to the lead agency. The document also includes provisions for ethics compliance and potential actions in case of violations. Amendments to the by-laws require membership approval, and in the event of dissolution, records remain with the lead agency and the member who represented the CO-OP as Chairperson or Secretary.
