The lowest responsible bidder will be determined based on factors such as the quality of the food and services supplied, conformity with the specifications, and suitability to the requirements of the County. - The successful vendor may propose changes to the menu plan, but must provide certification from a licensed dietician that the proposed changes are substantially nutritionally equivalent to the existing menus. - Bidders must meet certain qualifications, including having at least three years of experience in providing food services to jail/correctional/detention facilities with a rated capacity of 250-2000 beds. - Bidders must submit a certified audited financial statement for their business for the past year, or similar financial records if they have been in business under their current structure for less than one year. - Bidders must provide five references from firms they have worked with in the past.
