The contractor must provide a well-executed job in compliance with specifications and applicable codes. The award will be made on a lump sum basis, considering past performance. All materials installed under the contract are guaranteed for one year. Inquiries should be directed to the Buyer. The final payment is subject to the contractor delivering a complete release of all liens. Invoices must be submitted to the Office of Budget and Finance. Cash discounts may be applicable. Progress payments may be made, and retainage may be withheld. Bid deposits are required and failure to submit them may nullify the bid. The County's form contract is attached, and any exceptions must be submitted in writing. Insurance, bonds, and other contractual requirements must be met by the successful bidder. Noncompliance may result in the contract being awarded to the next lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The successful bidder will be required to give both a performance and payment bond.
