Delivery must be made within 21 days after the order is placed, and specific delivery routes and times are outlined. The A.F.M. must meet certain material requirements, including specific size, hardness, specific gravity, and solubility characteristics. The bidder must provide a sample and laboratory analysis with their bid, and the City will collect samples from each load for analysis. The document also includes requirements for shipping and delivery, including the use of enclosed or tightly covered trucks and dumping the material at the designated area. Prior notification of shipment must be faxed to the Water Treatment Plant.
