The document is a set of specifications for a decal called the "Louisiana Special Permit" issued by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Inside the shape of the state, the text "LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND DEVELOPMENT" should be printed. The decal should have a clear border approximately 1/8 inch in size. Additionally, the decal should have a white circle approximately 7/8 inches in diameter, located within the state shape, with the letter "C" printed inside it. There should also be a white window block approximately 1 inch in length and 3/8 inches in height, located on the decal. Inside the window block, consecutive numbering and expiration date should be printed. The background color, starting number, and expiration date will be specified in the Invitation to Bid. All print should be in Arial or Times Roman Font, centered, and in black ink. The decals should be packaged in numerical order, individually wrapped in poly packaging, and placed on a continuous roll with perforations between each wrapped decal. Each roll should contain 250 decals and be labeled with the beginning and ending decal numbers. The successful bidder will be provided with a sample layout of the decal, and proof must be submitted to the DOTD Procurement Office for approval before printing the decals.
