The job responsibilities include managing the pCard Program by developing and implementing strategic direction, ensuring policy and procedure compliance, conducting program audits, developing partnerships, overseeing program support, and handling media inquiries. The coordinator also serves on the Department's Management Team, acts as the Public Information Officer, and works on special projects such as revising the Tucson Procurement Code, developing training plans, and creating a marketing manual. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for managing the Surplus Program by developing policies and procedures, representing the City in online auction contracts, developing partnerships, reviewing property transfer requests, approving donation applications, and handling media inquiries. Lastly, the coordinator manages the Department's budget by tracking expenditures, monitoring revenue programs, projecting expenses and revenues, coordinating personnel credits, completing necessary transactions, conducting fixed asset audits, and approving payments.
