Ethical Leadership in Complex Environments
Focus: Ethics • Public Trust • Organizational Politics • Strategic Influence • Trust Building
Today’s public procurement leaders are asked to lead in environments filled with complexity, competing demands, and declining trust. This workshop helps leaders navigate those realities by focusing on two essential capacities: trust and influence.
Through the lens of ethics and public value, participants will explore how to align personal values with organizational goals, gain influence without formal authority, and lead with credibility—even when facing political pressure or ambiguous choices. Leaders will work through real-world case scenarios and reflect on how their influence style and communication approach impact trust across teams and stakeholders.
Grounded in 2025 research from Development Dimensions International (DDI), the session highlights the steep drop in trust in immediate managers—from 46% to 29%—and explores why restoring trust has become a strategic imperative. Participants will examine the three levels of trust (self, relational, organizational), and leave with actionable tools to build psychological safety, promote open dialogue, and make ethically grounded decisions that stand up under scrutiny.
Navigating Uncertainty with Strategy and Strength
Focus: Change Management • Resilience & Stress Management • Burnout Prevention • Strategic Agility • Crisis Leadership
Crises and constraints are no longer the exception—they’re the environment. This workshop helps leaders stay grounded and decisive when resources are tight, timelines are squeezed, and the future is unclear. Using real-world public-sector scenarios, participants will engage in strategic simulations to plan responses to uncertainty, lead with empathy, and build organizational and personal resilience.
New insights from DDI’s 2025 study will anchor our conversation around stress and burnout. With 71% of leaders now reporting heightened stress, and time scarcity emerging as the number one predictor of burnout and disengagement, leaders must learn to adapt without losing direction. This session introduces practical tools for reflective decision-making, stress-as-growth frameworks, and prioritization under pressure.
Building & Sustaining High-Performing Teams
Focus: Talent Development • Emotional Intelligence • Coaching • Conflict • Recognition • Team Culture
High-performing teams don’t just happen—they’re built through trust, coaching, and culture. This workshop puts people at the center of leadership by exploring the emotional and interpersonal dynamics that shape team performance. Participants will discover how to shift from managing to coaching, and how to strengthen trust through developmental conversations, feedback, and recognition.
Using 2025 data from Development Dimensions International (DDI), we’ll explore why employees who receive coaching are 9X more likely to trust their leader. We’ll also connect trust-building to emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and inclusive recognition practices that reinforce team cohesion and growth.
Participants will engage in exercises to assess their coaching strengths, recognize coaching moments, and apply a powerful coaching dialogue model. By practicing appreciative questioning and personalized goal alignment, leaders will learn how to motivate team members, uplevel thinking, and build coaching relationships that drive lasting performance improvement.
Impact attendees will have access to brand-new sessions as part of the overall Summit experience. Based on feedback, these sessions will be available virtually over the five months following the event—so you are able to revisit, catch up, or dive deeper on your schedule.
