  • Leading Without the Title: Everyday Influence in Public Procurement

Leadership isn’t just for those with formal titles. In fact, some of the most impactful leadership happens behind the scenes—through initiative, credibility, and everyday professionalism. This session empowers frontline and mid-level professionals to step into influence, champion procurement values, and help shape organizational culture from any position.

  • Great teams don’t just happen—they’re built intentionally

This session explores how to develop the next generation of leaders through mentorship and structured succession planning. Learn how to foster growth at every level, mentor across generations, and formalize development pathways—especially in agencies facing workforce shortages and high retirement rates.

  • Procurement on the Margins: Raising the Voice of Small and Mid-Sized Agencies

Not every agency has the luxury of expansive budgets or organizational clout. This session gives voice to leaders from smaller or mid-sized entities, exploring their unique challenges—and the innovative ways they carve out influence, build credibility, and modernize practices despite constraints.

  • Culture-Driven Leadership: Navigating Bias, Belonging, and Cultural Intelligence

Leadership today demands more than technical skill—it requires cultural fluency. This session introduces frameworks for recognizing bias, building inclusive teams, and leading with cultural intelligence (CQ). Participants will examine how identity, empathy, and equity shape performance, trust, and team dynamics.

  • Policy Meets People: Hiring, Retention & Reform in a Restrictive Landscape

What happens when you’re expected to recruit and retain top talent—but your policies won’t let you? This session explores the paradox of public-sector hiring in highly regulated environments. Learn from peers about workarounds, advocacy techniques, and reforms that build a more flexible, inclusive workforce.
