Presenter Bio(s) 

Theresa Webb has 35+ years of experience in procurement with 18 of those years in the public sector procurement. Over her career, she held leadership roles related to procurement and inventory management in retail, sporting goods, aerospace, chemical manufacturing, and government. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business management. She holds NIGP-CPP, CPPO, CPPB, and lifetime C.P.M., certifications. Since retiring in 2020 Theresa has continued to serve the government procurement profession as a consultant for Civic Initiatives. In addition to her consulting work, she is a Program Specialist and an Adjunct Professor at Columbia International University.

Theresa is currently an NIGP Learning Leader (Instructor).  She is co-author of “Strategic Sourcing in the Public Sector”, one of the NIGP Cornerstone series textbooks that was published in 2023. Additionally, she has served on the NIGP Talent Council, the NIGP Member Council. Chair of the NIGP Accreditation Committee, President of the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials (FAPPO), President of the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of NIGP and leadership roles for the Airport Purchasing Group. Theresa has also served on multiple teams creating NIGP coursework, on NIGP Best Practice Task Forces. Theresa has led training, workshops and webinars for local, state, and national professional organizations and authored numerous articles on topics such as benchmarking, professionalism, negotiation, debriefing, and organizational sustainability.
 

Attendance for Individuals

In order to receive one contact hour, each member needs to register for the webinar individually in advance and then watch the live webinar. Your credit is tabulated by match between your login and your registration.

Attendance for Groups

There is a Group Sign-In Form provided with each webinar. The group sign-in form does not register anyone for the webinar, it just verifies live attendance. Each person will receive their login email on the day of the webinar – this verifies their registration. The group sign in form verifies that they watched the live webinar.

Cancellation Policy

Registration and payment must be received 24 hours prior to the course start date. After this time, registrations will be based on space availability.  A full refund, less a $75 administrative fee will be given for cancellations made in writing 31+ days prior to the seminar date by emailing RegistrationInfo@nigp.org. No refunds are given for cancellations received within 24 hours of the seminar start date. There are no refunds for no-shows. If the seminar is cancelled for any reason, NIGP's liability is limited to the registration fee only.  

Attendee substitutions within the same agency may be done at any time with email notification to NIGP. If attending via scholarship, please provide documentation verifying the scholarship issuer's name and contact information in lieu of payment information.
