IFB - Telehandler 2008

  • YEAR CREATED: 2008
  • ENTITY TYPE: County
  • TYPE OF DOCUMENT: BID - ITB, IFB, ITT, RFB
The document is a rider clause for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a telehandler for Loudoun County Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Management. The clause allows the successful vendor to offer the goods and services to other member jurisdictions of the Northern Virginia Cooperative Purchasing Council and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. The vendor can directly notify any member jurisdiction of the availability of the contract. Participation in the contract is voluntary for both the vendor and the member jurisdictions. Each participating jurisdiction has the option to execute a separate contract with the awardee, which may contain specific terms and conditions unique to that jurisdiction. If the general terms and conditions of a jurisdiction are unacceptable to the awardee, they may withdraw their extension of the award to that jurisdiction. Each member jurisdiction is responsible for placing orders directly with the vendor, arranging deliveries, reconciling discrepancies and invoices, and issuing payments. Failure to offer the terms and conditions of the contract to any member will not disqualify a bidder or affect the award of the contract. The document also includes a list of member jurisdictions that the vendor can offer the contract to. The bidder must complete and return the form with their bid. The document was last revised in June 2006.
