The role is responsible for assisting in the management and support of the procurement functions of the school district to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as district policies. This includes reviewing and processing procurement requests, analyzing and improving system-level processes, managing departmental projects and programs, and providing technical guidance and training to staff. The position oversees daily departmental operations, maintains accurate records, processes expense claims, audits invoices, and ensures proper documentation of contracts and purchasing activities.
The incumbent serves as a resource to operating departments, schools, and external stakeholders, offering expert guidance on procurement policies and procedures while fostering a customer-focused, collaborative environment. Additionally, the role involves system troubleshooting, coordinating software updates, reporting, clerical support, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and safety protocols.
