Description

Purchases supplies, equipment, and services for the Dept of Water Resources.

Prepares requests for bids and proposals, including all documentation and supporting schedules; Contacts vendors and evaluates bids;

Prepares request for purchase orders and submits to Finance; Prepares contracts between City and vendors for execution;

Ensures compliance with laws, City purchasing guidelines, procedures, and ordinances.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related Field.

Three years purchasing experience. Supervisory experience is necessary.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the minimum level of qualifications stated above.
