To know Lourdes Coss is to feel known by Lourdes Coss. Often adorned in brilliant hues and always greeting you with a smile, Lourdes exudes both confidence and calm—and for good reason. Lourdes is an incredibly impressive individual. In her twenty-seven year career Lourdes led procurement transformations at some of the largest agencies in the US, including the City of Houston, Cook County, the City of Chicago, and more. Lourdes’ success in the field led to her authorship of “Procurement Methods: Effective Techniques,” and she now works as a Consultant, Speaker, Executive Coach, and Trainer, continuing to contribute to the procurement profession. When her former students hear about new courses Lourdes is teaching, they sign up; they know that Lourdes brings to the classroom not only a wealth of knowledge but also the intentionality and thoughtfulness of an instructor truly invested in the success of their students.
Lourdes is teaching NIGP’s new Mastermind program in fall 2023 and spring 2024—an opportunity for mid to senior level professionals to tap into their leadership potential.
