This document outlines the specifications and requirements for vendors bidding on a contract with Baltimore County. It states that samples provided by the vendor must conform exactly to the specifications and be furnished within seven days upon request. Failure to provide samples as specified may result in rejection of the bid. The successful bidder's samples may be retained for comparison with products delivered under the contract. Samples will only be returned at the vendor's expense if requested at the time of furnishing the sample. If not picked up within thirty days, the samples will be disposed of. The successful bidder is also required to extend the same prices, terms, and conditions to the Baltimore County Board of Education, Baltimore County Public Library, and Community Colleges. The purchase and payment transactions will be made directly between the vendor and the requesting entity. Baltimore County reserves the right to extend the terms and conditions of the price agreement to other agencies. Invoices must be legibly prepared and submitted in duplicate on a monthly basis for payment authorization. Cash discounts will be computed from the date of delivery or receipt of correct invoices. Late payment charges are prohibited. In addition, bidders must submit Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) with their bids, which must be approved by the Safety Office before awarding the bid.
