Description

This Mastermind series meets live virtually (2 hrs.) for 3 sessions (6 contact hours) and is for those individuals that want to learn how to develop their leadership and increase their organizational impact.  

During this series you learn ten foundational lessons for becoming a good leader.  Lessons include topics on influence, priorities, character, positive change, problem solving, attitude, service, vision, self-discipline, and personal growth. The resources and principles provided are specifically designed with the developing leader in mind. Participants will engage in guided discussions and share ideas and reflections from own experiences.

Each participant will receive John Maxwell’s book: Developing the Leader Within You 2.0.


Objectives

  • Identify the ten essential aspects of developing your leadership.

  • Follow/Adopt leadership recommendations to improve in each area of leadership.

  • Practice leadership tactics and strategies to enhance your leadership.

  • Employee delegation techniques to increase your effectiveness. 


Intended Audience

This course is targeted to individuals who meet or exceed the following professional demographics:  

  • Senior-level public procurement professionals and senior-level central warehouse professionals who already have an in-depth knowledge of public procurement and handle or manage high-level, complex procurements for their respective entities.   

  • Professionals who are employed by governing entities and special authorities (such as K-12 and higher education, publicly-owned utilities, transportation providers, and other publicly-funded or created entities) who direct procurement operations and establish procurement policies.
