Description
This role involves overseeing the entire procurement process for a county, including reviewing, and analyzing procurement requests, ensuring compliance with regulations, and determining the best procurement methods to meet user needs while providing value. Key responsibilities include preparing solicitation packages, drafting scope of services, evaluating bids, conducting public meetings, conducting vendor negotiations, and managing contracts. Additionally, it involves leading procurement staff, developing training materials, liaising with internal departments, and maintaining comprehensive records of procurement activities.Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Position is in Naples, Florida; onsite; no remote or hybrid work schedule.
- Bachelor's degree required. Four (4) years of related experience.
- Candidates without a degree should possess four (4) additional years of related experience.
- Fingerprinting Required.
