Description

Reviews and approves purchase orders on a daily basis for requested goods and services.

Acts as the County’s official P-Card Administrator and maintains records of credit cards, cardholders, and liaisons. Acts as coordinator in charge disputes, lost or stolen cards, etc. Manages supplier relationships by investigating and resolving any contractual or performance related problems.

Maintains records of all procurement contracts and files. Notifies internal and external stakeholders of contract renewals, completions, extensions, etc.

Maintains titles, license plates and renewals for all County vehicles.

Manages the County’s fleet fuel cards. Assists in purchases and sales for Capital Equipment Replacement Plan.

Maintains certificate of insurance records and ensures current coverage is on file for all vendors providing services on County property.

Assists in annual worker’s compensation audit. Opens and/or Witnesses for public bid openings. Acts as the administrator and main point-of-contact over all County website accounts, including but not limited to, Amazon Business, Office Depot, Southeastern Paper, , etc.

Assists in the compilation and redaction of documents for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

With Purchasing Officer’s approval, purchases office supplies and equipment necessary to support purchasing office operations while maintaining purchases within the allotted fiscal year budget.

Interacts and communicates with vendors, employees, volunteers and the general public in order to provide information and/or assistance.

Prepares letters, reports, and public notices as directed by the Purchasing Officer. Other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Officer

Requirements

Must be proficient in email, online ordering, word, and excel.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Vendor Registry, New World Logos.Net, and Beehive is a plus.

Must be able to work at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Georgetown during emergency events.
