Materials stored off-site are also eligible for payment, but they need to be approved by the county and inspected to ensure proper storage. The contractor is responsible for reimbursing the county's costs for inspecting materials stored off-site and will be held accountable for any losses or damages resulting from a failure to deliver materials to the work site. The document includes provisions that warrant the transfer of title to all work, materials, and equipment covered by an application for payment to the county upon incorporation or receipt of payment, free and clear of any liens or encumbrances. The contractor also warrants that no work or materials have been acquired under agreements that retain an interest or encumbrance imposed by the contractor or any other person.
