The document is an invitation to bid for a time and materials maintenance agreement for PCs and peripherals in Baltimore County, Maryland. The agreement covers remedial maintenance for various types of equipment, including PCs, peripherals, printers, terminals, controllers, connectors, tape units, input devices, and cables. Major repairs exceeding $200 must be authorized by the Customer Service Manager. The service response time is within six hours for regular repairs and two hours for emergency repairs. The repair turn around time is eight hours for on-site repairs and twenty-four hours for off-site repairs. If a repair cannot be made within these time frames, the contractor must contact the designated County service representative. If equipment needs to be removed from the County's premises for repair, the contractor must provide an equivalent device before its removal. The work sites are located in various County-owned and/or operated buildings within Baltimore County. All replacement parts should be new OEM parts, and if not available, used OEM parts that are warranted as new in performance. The maintenance service is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. The designated agency representative will determine the acceptability of work and services performed, and the contractor will be called in to review and correct any problems without additional cost to the County. Applicable permits, licenses, and taxes are the responsibility of the vendor. The vendor must minimize inconvenience to the County during the work and protect all existing and newly installed work, materials, equipment, improvements, utilities, structures, and vegetation. The vendor is responsible for removing debris from the site and keeping the premises clean. Memory devices cannot be removed from the County premises, and irreparable devices must be presented to County personnel for disposal. The estimated inventory of equipment covered includes IBM terminals, printers, controllers, Telex equipment, out of warranty HP printers (approximately 500 units), and out of warranty PCs mostly Dell with some Gateway (approximately 500 units).
