What will I be doing? High-level management and oversight of agency procurement activities utilizing varied best practice procurement methods with a large focus on the Request for Proposal method. Review and/or develop specifications/scope of work for agency solicitations Develop complex requests for proposals and other solicitations and manage the solicitation through contract award.
Provide guidance and training to lower-level procurement team members Be the subject matter expert of the procurement process and ensure compliance with internal and external procurement policy and procedure and regulations

Key Qualifications
Ability to work under pressure, under tight deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities
Applicable experience may substitute for education
Extensive experience in complex procurements of commodities and complex services
Extensive background in commodity procurement of varied types and extensive knowledge in large bid tabulations
In depth knowledge of governmental bidding and solicitation practices along with OMB standards
Experience with accounting and purchase order software
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of applications

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties
