Overview

Like it or not, information technology products and services are making up more and more of our entities spend each year. For the uninitiated, IT-related procurement can seem daunting and overwhelming. But what if I told you there was a tool that can assist you through every step of the procurement cycle - from acquisition planning and market research through specification development, evaluation, demonstration, negotiation, and contract administration? That tool is the Functionality Matrix, and in this session, you will learn what the Matrix is, how to create one, and how it will help make your IT-related procurements more efficient and effective.

What You'll Learn

After completing this online training session, learners will be able to:

1. Identify the need for the creation of a functionality matrix.
2. Assist stakeholders in creating a functionality matrix.
3. Utilize the functionality matrix to evaluate proposals, conduct demos, and ultimately contract for the best solution for the entity.
