DescriptionProfessional position within Procurement in the Office of Financial Services. Plans, direct and supervises the work of subordinate staff; performs contract administration and guidance to project managers in contract management; provides direct support to the Procurement Director for special projects and reports; serves as the District's contract management and general system administrator; and other Procurement-related duties as assigned.
RequirementsA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration or related field and four years of professional procurement experience, Professional procurement experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. Certification as a Certified Professional Public Buyer, Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) or Certified Contract Negotiator is preferred.
