Description

Responsible for performing specialized & advanced buying & purchasing functions for the procurement of a wide range of commodities & services, including construction contracts. Employees in this class are responsible for the review of requisitions, preparation of bid invitations, analysis of bids and the preparation of purchase orders.

Requirements

Graduation of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Real Estate, Law or closely related field is required. A minim of 6 years of progressively responsible purchasing experience in a medium or large-scale purchasing operation is required. Must possess a CPM, NIGP-CPP, CPPB, CPPO, or CPPM is required. Florida drivers license with a clean driving record is required.
