Description
Overview Salary: $145,000 annually
TDOT’s Professional Services Director role is a positional paradox: though the division they oversee is predominately technical, the critical skills needed are strategic and interpersonal and require robust business acumen. The Professional Services Director must have a firm grasp of laws, regulations, guidance, and governance, but equally must articulate an enterprise vision and guidance while managing employee accountability for professional services procurement. To do this effectively, they must be persuasive leaders of change and develop strong, trusting, collaborative relationships with all TDOT and the consultant community. The Professional Services Director provides a safe and open environment for expressing ideas and concerns, as well as the leadership necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and performance excellence.
