Description
Develops and implements effective contract execution plans and tactics for assigned portfolio to effectively support developing, negotiating, and executing contracts whether originated from sourcing efforts or non-sourcing efforts within an assigned portfolio. • Assists with needs analysis, direct negotiations, legal collaboration, and contract integration with electronic tools. • Develops and maintains requirements and contractual expertise within assigned portfolio. • Ensures contracts and associated documents/exhibits are completely and appropriately completed; verifies alignment with departmental requirements related to product, service deliveries, pricing and all associated contract requirements needed by the County. • Produces reports tracking contract expiration dates for assigned portfolio and collaborates with aligned Procurement Analyst(s) in Sourcing as well as department staff and leaders to address needs and desires in support of County delivered initiatives. • Monitors and analyzes a variety of policy and partner requirements and data sources, ensuring all contracts entered into by the county meet specified standards. • Prepares related special reports and studies and maintains appropriate contractual templates.Requirements
A minimum of two years of experience in procurement and the related areas of sourcing metrics, budget control, performance analysis, and contract management; one year of experience utilizing intermediate features of Microsoft Excel to conduct financial analysis; one year of experience using electronic procurement/vendor management software. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics or Supply Chain Management. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Certifications including NIGP-CPP, CPSM, or CSCP • Paralegal training or certification or contract management certification (CPCM) • Experience and/or certifications in project management disciplines such as PMP or Lean Six SigmaApplication Process
