Description
The Quality Assurance Director will evaluate the authorization, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of transaction processing and controls in business systems.
Review and approve various requisitions for specific commodities for the university as identified. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Performs information control reviews to include system development standards, system security, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
2. Prepares working papers to ensure that adequate documentation exists to support the findings and proposed next steps.
3. Prepares written reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner for distribution to management.
4. Consults with and advises administrators, faculty, and staff on various operational issues related to computerized information systems, and on general business operations as needed.
5. Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in business, finance, procurement, auditing.
Ability to create and analyze reports for non-compliance, irregularities, process issues, and provide proposed solutions/changes for future standards of practice Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and effectively resolve complicated issues.

Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (with strong Excel skills).
