Description

Facilities Services is seeking a Construction Contracting Officer for a fast-paced construction office. The Construction Contracting Officer works under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor to prepare construction-related Requests for Proposals, Invitations for Bids, Requests for Information, and Request for Qualifications; reviews and evaluates bids and proposals; negotiates, prepares, and awards contracts; responds to protests; confer with contractors; and advise project staff in the duties listed.

Requirements

Nationally recognized procurement certification Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and three years of related, progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license.
