Perform a variety of tasks in providing highly responsible administrative staff assistance, conducting specific and comprehensive analyses of a wide range of municipal policies, organization, procedures, financial services, and maintenance and analysis of department/division data. Provide assistance and customer service to City employees, general public, vendors and other Purchasing and Contracts division staff. Provide technical support and basic maintenance for purchasing, contracts, and vendor modules of the City's financial software. Serve as the division records manager in compliance with State retention requirements. Serve as backup support for the procurement card program (including cardholder support), perform administrative and technical tasks in support of the Purchasing and Contracting functions including verifying final contract payment for accuracy, preparing contract documentation, and monitoring construction contract close-out procedures. Monitor insurance certificates for active contracts. Maintain the Purchasing and Contracts division's intranet and internet sites.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate's Degree or college level coursework in business or related field and two or more years of related job experience.
