Jeffco Public Schools is seeking a Public Purchasing Agent with a focus on construction procurement support. Essential duties include: Solicitation management for Capital Construction projects. Vendor / Contractor relations management. Vendor/ Supplier/ Contractor identification and recruitment. Construction management procurement support, training, advising, and facilitation. A successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively across a broad range of audiences, be well organized, a self-starter, and show initiative in solving problems, contributing to solutions and effective business practices across the organization. Requirements
Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), Certified Public Purchasing Official (CPPO), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification or similar certification preferred at time of hire. If not certified at time of hire, certification is required within three years of hire, and required to be maintained.Application Process
