Description
Director of Procurement Services serves as a strategic leader providing direction for the university’s procurement operations, strategic sourcing, supplier diversity, and central property functions. The Director will serve as the university’s chief procurement officer to develop and implement procurement methods and policies designed to streamline processes, reduce cost, and improve service. The Director will be trusted to ensure compliance with the university and government regulations.Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a related field alongside eight years of increasingly progressive management experience is required. This key leader is expected to serve as a role model who fosters a cooperative work environment. The successful candidate will use independent judgement to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel and to manage and impart information to a range of customers.
