DescriptionThe Public Procurement Administrative Clerk reports directly to the Purchasing Manager, (Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) is strongly detail-oriented, performs various levels of administrative support for solicitations and procurement for supplies, services and tangible goods in compliance with local, state and federal laws, statutes, rules, ordinances, codes and regulations regarding procurement and performs procurement related and general administrative duties as assigned. Works closely with the Public Procurement Assistant, Purchasing Manager (CPO) and other SCSWA staff, as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED/equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year in a public office controlled by the government with demonstrated direct procurement office support experience OR
- Minimum of two (2) years in a public office controlled by the government with demonstrated administrative experience A Degree in a Business or Secretarial field may substitute for 50% of either of the minimum qualifications.
