Description

  • Coordinate the contractor selection process in accordance with rules, regulations and policies.
  • Independently develop, negotiate and execute contracts for architectural and engineering (A&E) and other services.
  • Modify contract terms and conditions throughout pre-award and post-award phases.
  • Plan pre-bid and pre-proposal conferences and answer questions about the solicitation process.
  • Draft and process contract documents.
  • Input daily updates into the contract management system.
  • Develop strategies to minimize potential risks. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications for a procurement & contract specialist 3:

  • Five years procurement and contract experience related to the position such as developing and administering standard contracts, agreements, or solicitations.
  • OR A bachelor’s degree and two years of professional-level procurement and contract experience related to the position.
  • OR Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of procurement and contract experience related to the position.

Minimum qualifications for a procurement & contract specialist 2 (underfill):

  • Four years procurement and contract experience related to the position. Two of the four years must have been at the professional-level such as developing and administering standard contracts, agreements, or solicitations.
  • OR A bachelor’s degree and one year of professional-level procurement and contract experience related to the position.
  • OR Any combination of experience and education equivalent to four years of procurement and contract experience related to the position.
