As a Procurement and Contracts Specialist on the Contracts team, you’ll: Develop complex contracts, amendments, and related documents for construction, technology, professional services, and other high-dollar, high-profile engagements. Analyze and interpret legal terms and conditions to identify and assess potential risk or compliance issues. Lead and/or facilitate contract negotiations and related discussions between the County and vendors. Collaborate across the organization in the development of contracts, amendments, and scopes of work. Recommend and develop policies and procedures for contract management activities, administrative agent functions, contract compliance policies, vendor performance issues, and other areas as needed. Assist in the development, maintenance, and facilitation of procurement and contract training programs for internal customers on effective contract lifecycle management, scope training, contract development, and other relevant areas.
