Within DES, the Contracts and Procurement (C&P) Division is hiring a Procurement Supervisor. In this role, you will provide guidance and leadership to a team of contracting professionals. Your team will be responsible for helping state agencies and political subdivisions access effective commercial solutions, using state buying power to improve the value of every dollar spent, and making it easy to do business with the state.Requirements
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree involving major study in business administration, public administration, business law, commerce, mathematics, statistics, economics, or closely allied field; AND Five (5) years of experience in negotiating, administering or terminating contracts, supply chain, or other related fields, contract cost or price analysis or contract compliance administration.
**Please note: Master's degree in one of the above academic disciplines may be substituted for one (1) year of the above experience. A law degree from an accredited college or university approved by the Washington State Bar Association may be substituted for two (2) years of the above experience and the required education. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted, year for year, for the required education. AND A minimum of (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
