This session provides a brief overview of NIGP’s Pathways program which integrates career-long learning with credentialing options – including the NIGP Certified Procurement Professional designation (NIGP-CPP) credential. The session will explain the NIGP-CPP program objectives and the key differences which set the NIGP-CPP apart from other certification programs. Presenter Bio(s)
Rick Grimm has served as NIGP’s Chief Executive Officer for 27 years. He served county governments and public school districts for 23 years, including over 12 years in the leadership of the public procurement function, before joining the NIGP team in 1998.
- The competency-based Pathways program that guides professionals on their career aspirations through learning and credentialing options;
- The NIGP Certified Procurement Professional designation with over 1,600 certificants to date and one of only two programs to be accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board.
- NIGP’s Center for the Advancement of Research and Excellence (CARE) which represents a diversity of senior practitioners, academicians, business leaders, and association leaders who come together as an incubator think tank to discuss public procurement trends. The Center also commissions research that will intentionally impact content, standards, and best practices for the profession.
Attendance for Individuals
In order to receive one contact hour for an educational webinar, each member needs to register for the webinar individually in advance and then watch the live webinar. Your credit is tabulated by match between your login and your registration.
Attendance for Groups
There is a Group Sign-In Form provided
with each webinar. The group sign-in form does not register anyone for the
webinar, it just verifies live attendance. Each person will receive their login
email on the day of the webinar – this verifies their registration.
