She has a Bachelors' in Business Administration and a Masters' degree in Business Management. Theresa is a certified NIGP Instructor, and a current Chair of the NIGP Accreditation Committee. Theresa is a member of NIGP, FAPPO, and North Florida Chapter of NIGP, and has been a member of multiple boards, committees, panels, task forces and councils for those organizations over the years. She was recognized by NIGP in 2013 as National Buyer of the Year.
