Overview

From Boomers to Gen Z, radios to the internet, in-person to virtual, managing today's workforce can be a challenge. With seasoned professionals retiring from the workforce and people entering the workforce who don't know what procurement is, the need to understand that managing personnel must adapt is important. Learning how to successfully manage a multi-generational workforce can take you to the next level.

What You'll Learn

After completing this online training session, learners will be able to:

1.  Understanding and leveraging generational differences to attain success from personnel is key to developing a strong team that will contribute to the success of your organization.  Everyone can have something to contribute when strengths and weaknesses are identified.
2.  Creating an environment that will allow all personnel to thrive, contribute and advance while fulfilling the mission of the agency helps to ensure your success.
3.  Understanding everyone cannot and should not be managed the same way is paramount to a team's success.
4. Recognizing that today's workplace does not look like yesterday's workplace can assist with recruiting and retention.
5. Implementing strategies that will attract all generations to the profession will ensure successful knowledge transfer and continued professional growth.
6. Establishing an environment that promotes success and challenges thought across generations will determine organizational success and growth.
