  • Start Time: 12:30 PM Eastern Time
  • End Time: 5:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Level: Foundation
  • Format: Virtual Conference
  • Contact Hours: 9

2023 VCON will be held over 2-days (12:30 – 5:00 ET) for approximately 9 hours. Participants will be able to select from several offerings (8 sessions) that last approximately 1 ½ hours each.

The focus of 2023 VCON is to provide procurement-based training/content and refresher content to both new and veteran public procurement professionals. The great resignation and high turnover due to the pandemic has impacted public procurement entities. Many entities are dealing with new staff with little to no procurement background and/or procurement professionals coming from the private sector.

2023 VCON aims to help new public procurement practitioners begin their journey of professional development. Attendees will receive an introduction into topics that are key to a new practitioner’s understanding of public procurement. Additionally, the conference will provide an overview of professional development resources along with a panel of experts that will share their career experiences and answer questions.
