Based on that feedback, the topic for this Business Council white paper arose and addresses avoiding protests, moving your agency into the future by understanding when the specifications provided are outdated, and not ending up in the newspaper for breaking any rules.
The Healthy-Agency Supplier Relationship Guide looks at ways procurement professionals and the supplier community can improve communication and outcomes through specific activities. These activities apply not only to contract-based interactions, but also to the relationship procurement staff and end users have with suppliers when not discussing or considering a specific contract. These interactions can include daily small threshold purchases as well as simply discussing industry trends or new innovations.
