Purpose:

  • This grant will fund one or more research projects of value to public procurement professionals who affirm and use generally accepted public procurement principles. The NIGP Knowledge Management Grant program aims to stimulate a diverse range of study within the profession.
  • NIGP will award a maximum of $20,000 per year in research grants. One or more grants may be awarded by the Knowledge Management Committee provided the application is judged worthy of support by the committee under the rules and guidelines. All work must be completed prior to May 15, 2018.

Eligibility

  • Applicants should have experience with research projects and an understanding of the creation, and/or use of public procurement principles.
  • Applicants must provide a resume and statement of their qualifications for carrying out this project.
  • Participation in this NIGP research project shall not be denied to any applicant based on race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability or sexual orientation.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.  Submit all documents at the same time.
