Traveling North from Richmond

	Follow I-95 North to the Washington, DC metro area.
	As you approach the Springfield, VA area, take the exit to I-495 West (Tysons Corner). NOTE: This is a very busy interchange and the right-hand exit comes up quickly.

I-495 West to Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) - Requires $.75 in tolls

	Travel on I-495 (W) for approximately 15-20 minutes.
	Exit onto the Dulles Toll Road (West). May also say “To Dulles Airport."
	Use one of the right lanes (you want to avoid taking the center lanes that only go to Dulles Airport.) Go through the toll plaza ($.50 toll).

Dulles Toll Road (West) to NIGP Offices

	Travel on the Toll Road for approximately 15 miles. Exit at the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) exit – pay $.25 toll. Stay to the right and turn right onto 7100 (North) and get in the left lane.
	Turn left at the first light onto Spring Street. (Once you turn left, the exit ramp makes a sharp bend.)
	Turn right onto Spring Street at the traffic light. Immediately get into the left lane.
	Turn left at the next traffic light onto Herndon Parkway (the NIGP offices are on the left at the corner of Spring Street and Herndon Parkway. Make a U-turn at the first break in the median and return to NIGP’s parking lot (151 Spring Street).
	The reception area is on the first floor.

Traveling from Washington DC or Maryland

I-495 East to Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) – Requires $.75 in tolls

	Travel on I-495 (E).
	Exit onto the Dulles Toll Road (West). May also say “To Dulles Airport."
	Stay in the right lanes (you want to avoid taking the center lanes that only go to Dulles Airport.) Go through the toll plaza ($.50 toll).

Dulles Toll Road (West) to NIGP Offices

	Travel on the Toll Road for approximately 15 miles. Exit at the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) exit – pay $.25 toll. Stay to the right and turn right onto 7100 (North) and get in the left lane.

Traveling from Dulles Airport

East on the Dulles Toll Road – Route 267 – Requires $.25 toll

	Follow the Dulles Toll Road signs traveling east toward Washington DC.
	Get off at the Fairfax County Parkway (Route 7100) exit – pay $25 toll. Note: this is a long exit ramp from the Toll Road.
	Take a left onto the Fairfax County Parkway North.
	Turn left at the second traffic light (Spring Street). (Once you turn left, the exit ramp makes a sharp bend.)
	Turn right onto Spring Street at the traffic light. Immediately get into the left lane.
	Turn left at the next traffic light onto Herndon Parkway (the NIGP offices are on the left at the corner of Spring Street and Herndon Parkway. Make a U-turn at the first break in the median and return to NIGP’s parking lot (151 Spring Street).
	The reception area is on the first floor.
